Seems to be a site record !!.. all 20 k of it.. Very interesting flight. 20-40 kn/p/h WSW from the West coast site where launch is @20m ASL.....  long time messing and waiting for a decent sea thermal of more than 2m/s to get a possitive climb at 800m or so and big enough to commit to going over the back, Ahead is the perpendicular crossing of  the penisula. Disconcertingly , though predicably  the Track drift was directly out to sea on the lea of the penisular. !.. Had to try crab inland as much as possible. Climbs stronger inland to 1100m at 6m/s but again track going maritime .. needed to be at least 10k inland to get on a more NE track...  (that would have given a 4000km ride to the north coast !!! lol))hmm..)... meanwhile concerns soon manifested regarding Busselton Airspace, and town and forresrty. With base at 1100m or so, and cross wind glides to get out of trouble giving only about 3-6 km of glide distance and loosing 2-3 km in the climbs...   Decided on safer option to pop down before things got properly out of hand..  Had lorra  fun and felt quite necky.. hmm.. Given a more W or WNW prevailing at 15-20k on the hill (dune) ..# I reckon established early <9am,  a WR is possible  from the site.. as its clear and strong heading inland... just gotta get past that first 40 near the coast...  hmm..
