Bit of a mad scramble and confusion this morning with winds coming from all directions. SE on Tambo, SSW at Beechy. Most ended up at Beechmont in light 1m climbs and Southerly conditions.

The lucky few that got away found good 2-3m climbs to 1900m on the Westerly facing ridges and a light WNW headwind out to Beaudesert.

Flight of the day goes to Jerry with a 65k triangle and Barney with a decent 25k flight over the Kerry on a day that proved difficult to get away from Beechmont. Those that remained behind still got a few good hours of flying in consistent conditions. Ash and Shane did get away from Tambo later even though the masses were still happily flying at Beechmont.
